For over 10 years, Kamada has produced and marketed high-purity human transferrin (HTr) worldwide. We manufacture HTr in two formulations (lyophilized powder or 5% solution) for use as an iron carrier in culture media for in vitro applications and as a diagnostic reagent. Recent research suggests Htr's potential as a pharmaceutical for targeting cancer and infected cells. It is our hope that, in the near future, Kamada HTr may be counted on to increase the effectiveness of cancer and infectious disease treatments by decreasing the destruction of healthy cells.
